With participation of not only elementary school students but also preschool age children and their parents in those years, the project held 7 sessions per year, up from the 4 sessions in 2008. The new event,“ Eniwa Daisuki! Shoku no Taiken Land (Love Eniwa! Food Experience Festival)”, offered field experience and dietary\neducation workshops over 2 days and 1 night. The collaboration between the school board and producers’ group in holding the event contributed to the promotion of dietary education among volunteer students and members of the producers’ group as well as participating children, reconfirming the importance of collaboration. Classes for preschool children and their parents offered opportunities for the children to actually cook, and attracted many participants, including repeat participants. PR activities before and after events play an important role in promotion\nof dietary education, and selecting appropriate PR methods for the targets of the promotion is essential.
