| 内容記述 | 本研究の目的は看護学生が、老年看護学概論の講義終了時に持った高齢者イメージを基に、高齢者理解を深めるための教育方法を検討することである。協力者は、4 年制大学看護学科２年生で、研究協力に同意した162 名だった。データ収集は、指定用紙に高齢者イメージを時間内に記述してもらう方法で、データ分析は内容分析を用いた。 この結果、得られたデータは2352 で、29 のカテゴリーと437 のサブカテゴリーが抽出された。カテゴリーは、『生活体験に関連した高齢者イメージ』と『既習内容に関連した高齢者イメージ』、『両者が関連した高齢者イメージ』に分類できた。このうち、多かった高齢者イメージは、『生活体験に関連したイメージ』であった。老年看護学に関する学習を始めたこの時期は、高齢者イメージに対して、自らの生活体験が優位に働くことが考えられた。しかし、カテゴリーが29 個と、ある程度の絞り込みができていたことは、老年看護学に関連した既習内容により視点が絞られたためと考える。よって、学生が記述した高齢者イメージは、学習内容と自らの生活体験を関連づけた内容であったことから、高齢者理解を深めるグループ討議の教材として活用できることが示唆された。 |

| 内容記述 | The objective of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of lectures given to deepen nursing students' understanding of elderly people. The students' perceptions of elderly people were analyzed following lectures about gerontological nursing. The participants were 162 nursing students in the second year of a four-year college program who gave written consent to participate in the study. The participants were asked to describe their thoughts about elderly people on the specified paper at a specified time, and then a content analysis was conducted. As a result, we obtained 2,352 data points which were then classified into 29 categories with 437 sub-categories. The 29 categories were also classified into three categories: "thoughts on the elderly related to life experience, ""thoughts on the elderly related to previous knowledge" and "thoughts on the elderly related to both." Of these three, the category that produced the most data was "thoughts on the elderly related to life experience." It was suggested that at the early stage of studying gerontological nursing, the students' own experiences significantly affected their perceptions of elderly people. It can be inferred that because focal points to recall were narrowed by the content of study, the data were categorized into the small number 29. Therefore, it was suggested that students' thoughts about the elderly could be used as material for group discussion. |
